Many people have made bad career moves, but James Mecca a defense lawyer from Louisiana, made a surprising one: he asked to be paid with weed. Not surprisingly, it didn’t turn out well. K2 Zombies? Synthetic Marijuana Isn’t Marijuana

Synthetic marijuana, also known as K2 or Spice, is reportedly behind dozens of users turning “zombie-like” in Brooklyn last summer. In July, 33 people collapsed on a Brooklyn sidewalk within an 11-hour period, according to a recent CNN article. Hunter S. Thompson Marijuana Clone Is Gonzo

Get ready to buy the ticket and take the ride with weed from journalist Hunter S. Thompson’s private stash. The widow of the Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas author is working to clone six of Thompson’s favorite strains, according to recent reports. Anita Thompson claims she’s been holding onto marijuana and hashish from the man who invented “Gonzo” journalism for the past 12 to 15 years (because, of course that’s what you’d do with it), in order to extract the DNA from the plants.

Is Snoop Dogg the Pied Piper of weed?

Rapper Snoop Dogg has been a vocal advocate of weed use since, well, as long as he’s been Snoop. Your first album isn’t called Chronic for no reason. The D-O-Double-G has also found himself in plenty of legal trouble for his habit over the years. So, it’s not surprising that Dogg has also been active in the promotion of California’s newly-passed recreational marijuana legalization and was one of the first celebrities to comment on this development by taking to Twitter to let his feelings be known;
